Double Girder Crane Bridge

Double Girder Crane Bridge
Harrison Fabrication Lifting Limited was recently asked to convert two 6.3 tonne crane bridges, to lift 15 tonne by fitting a Double Girder Crane Bridge between them. The Crane Bridge was fitted onto the existing crane bridges with a 50 x 30mm rail welded on top of each bridge. The 15 tonne Double Girder Crane Bridge, fitted with two speed end carriages, was then positioned on the two 6.3 tonne crane bridges. The two 6.3 tonne crane bridges were connected together with a bar at each end, to make sure they were always at the same span. A Kuli 15 tonne wire rope hoist was fitted to the Double Girder Crane Bridge. Both 6.3 tonne crane bridges have Liftket hoist fitted them and they can be used as normal, although the two crane bridges are a fixed position from each other.

  2. double girder cranes are potential to handle heavier loads and longer spans. With Low head room advantages and crane duty applications, HoistIndia double girder cranes lift a weight capacity up to 30 tons.
